Chessed of Malchus - Lovingkindness in Nobility

May 15 - 28th Iyar

A good leader needs to be warm and considerate towards their people. Healthy leadership is always loving and guiding, rather than bossing others around. Be careful between the line between being a good leader and taking too much control.

Today, do something kind for those whom you lead, whether it's younger siblings, fellow classmates, or even pets.

Gevurah of Malchus - Discipline of Nobility

May 16 - 29th Iyar

Although being a leader needs to come from a place of love, it needs to be balanced with Gevurah, and discipline. Effective leaders are respected and given authority. Think about the areas where you are in charge or lead, maybe you share a room and you take the responsibility to ensure you and your sister keep it clean. When you are not in a place of authority, do you try to gain it, or do you respect the authority of others? Even someone who is dignified like a king or a queen needs to set boundaries.

Today, before assuming authority, pause and think about if you have authority in this situation. For example, are you in control over the chores in your home? What about your siblings doing their homework?

Tiferes of Malchus - Compassion in Nobility

May 17 - 1st Sivan

A good leader has compassion toward others. They think about what everyone has to offer. Can you balance authority and being able to have compassion? Staying organized is key to running a smooth project or team. A leader delegates to other members and focuses on the team as a whole.

Today, focus on your team when working with others.

Netzach of Malchus - Endurance of Nobility

May 18 - 2nd Sivan

A leader is put to the test when faced with a challenge. Will you endure and power through, while still maintaining the atmosphere of the team, or will you give up? Leaders empower their people. Are you confident in yourself, and in your work?

Today, take action over a new task you've been nervous about until now.

Hod of Malchus - Humility of Nobility

May 19 - 3rd Sivan

Leadership is Hashem's gift to every person. Hod is appreciating that Hashem gave us this special gift. Be humble in your leadership. Remember to think, if someone else had been chosen for the same role as me, they could do a better job, because it's a gift from Hashem.

Today, acknowledge Hashem for creating you with this special ability.

Yessod of Malchus - Bonding of Nobility

May 20 - 4th Iyar

Sometimes our leadership creates such independence and confidence we forget to spend time with others. Having this self-confidence allows us to respect another's leadership as well. Think about a king making an alliance with another country. Don't be afraid to open up, it won't make you appear weak.

Today, connect with a close friend or family member and share. It will give you both confidence.

Malchus of Malchus - Nobility of Nobility

May 21 - 5th Sivan

Where does my confidence come from, is it an outer confidence a mask I put on to protect me, or am I really happy with who I am? When we are happy to be ourselves and embrace our uniqueness, we create inner confidence that makes us feel beautiful and truly dignified.

Today, enjoy being yourself and treat yourself! You have worked so hard to become someone you can love and trust. Most importantly remember there's no turning back, just the continued path forward.
